COVID-19 has impacted several business owners with loss of revenue and go-to-market strategies. A small business resource is available to entrepreneurs and small business owners who need to pivot and learn new ways to reach customers.
Jarlecia Jones, director of Pathway Women's Business Center, offers classes, workshops and technical assistance to entrepreneurs and small business owners who need to scale and grow. Pathway Lending is the parent company and provides lending for underrepresented entrepreneurs and small business owners in Tennessee.
As the new director, Jones wants to help entrepreneurs with accounting, marketing, business structure and planning. She is responsible for developing curriculum and programming to meet the needs of business owners across the state of Tennessee.
Jones is a native Memphian, she earned a dual bachelor's degree and master's degrees in business administration from Freed-Hardeman University. After graduation, she worked as tax accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and later joined as a staff accountant with Guy Brown Office Products in Franklin, Tennessee.
Her goal is to share resources that will help small business owners grow and thrive.
