According to a press release, the Small Business Administration (SBA) has reached a milestone within their Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL). The program provides small business owners, non-profits, and agricultural businesses with emergency funding.
Due to the enactment of the COVID-19 emergency legislation, the SBA has had so much success that they stated that they have, “provided more than 3.7 million small businesses employing more than 20 million people.” This loan is responsible for allowing millions of small business owners to maintain their operations in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic according to the press release.
Applications are still open until Dec. 31, 2021.
