Crews Center for Entrepreneurship held its spring Entrepreneur Showcase on Friday, April 22nd to spotlight student entrepreneurs on campus.
The Crews Center located on the University of Memphis campus provides a space for entrepreneurs to expand their ideas and get the proper resources to help them develop their product and services.
The purpose of the showcase was to promote and advertise students business concepts, network and make connections with other like-minded entrepreneurs.
The showcase allowed entrepreneurs such as Birú Pacha, a jewelry company, that uses organic and natural ingredients to make jewelry.
Lupe Giron, Crews Center student ambassador said, “The event was a fun and modern way to promote businesses with like-minded individuals.”
Vendors were able to try-out products and it helped them understand about marketing and getting to know potential customers, stated Giron.
