As the nation continues to address the healthcare crisis and focus on ways to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Writing by Design Media would like to share the following information with our readers:
The World Health Organization (WHO), the official organization responsible for regulating the diagnosis coding system, held a media briefing on March 25 in Geneva. WHO is the most credible source for receiving information about COVID-19. The organization has provided a strategy to help slow down the community spread of the virus. According to Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director of WHO, 150 countries are affected.
There are six steps recommended by WHO during this second window of opportunity that we have to control and contain the virus. I know everyone is being bombarded with information from media outlets and other communication channels. One of the items mentioned was that technology has been very helpful in this process and we also need to protect healthcare workers. Click here to watch the press conference video.
